FEED (Front End Engineering Design) for Nextfuel Biomethanol plant completed

Topsoe A/S, a project partner in the Nextfuel Biomethanol project, funded under EU Horizon program, has completed the Front End Engineering Design for the plant to be located on the west coast of Norway.

As part of Work Package 4 “Plant Design and optimization” Topsoe commenced the FEED after the Basic Engineering Design Package had been finished on 22. November 2024. During the FEED from November 2024 through May 2025 some 250+ engineering documents were generated by Topsoe and another 300+ engineering documents by Topsoe’s subcontractor for modular plant design. Jointly a sophisticated plant design including a 3D model was generated.
