NextFuel will participate in the 34th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE 2026), a globally recognised forum for innovation in biomass, bioenergy and the circular bioeconomy.
EUBCE 2026 is expected to bring together more than 1,500 participants from over 60 countries, representing academia, industry and policymaking. The conference will highlight the latest scientific and technological developments through a comprehensive programme of technical sessions, workshops and interactive discussions, while dedicated networking activities will foster collaboration between research organisations, academic institutions and industry stakeholders.
At EUBCE 2026, NextFuel will represent cutting-edge solutions for the production of sustainable biomethanol for maritime applications, showcasing its contribution to the decarbonisation of shipping. The project will highlight its innovative approach to electrified Steam Methane Reforming (SMR) as a key enabling technology for low-carbon biomethanol production, supporting the transition towards zero-emission shipping.
Through its participation, NextFuel aims to engage with the broader bioenergy and circular bioeconomy community, exchange knowledge, and explore synergies across energy, transport and industrial sectors. Printed communication materials will be available, and additional synergetic dissemination and networking actions will take place alongside the conference.
