Gasnor, serving as the project coordinator, brings extensive experience in managing large-scale ventures and new process plants. Their leadership ensures seamless collaboration among industry and research partners, laying a solid foundation for success.

FlexFuels, a key contributor in construction and operation, brings expertise in innovative technologies and sustainable practices. With a dedication to excellence, FlexFuels plays a pivotal role in implementing cutting-edge solutions for methanol production.

Topsoe, renowned for its expertise in catalysis and process technology, provides invaluable insights into optimizing production processes. Their contributions enhance the project’s scientific foundation, driving advancements in methanol synthesis.

At the forefront of end-user engagement is TOPEKA, capable of absorbing the project’s output and meeting the demands of sustainable shipping. With Wilhelmsen’s fleet already embracing methanol-powered vessels, TOPEKA leads the way towards a greener maritime future.

Facilitating effective communication and knowledge exchange is WEGEMT, leveraging expertise to streamline collaboration among partners.

Additionally, the project welcomes the expertise of CERTH/IMET, one of Greece’s leading research centers, and NTNU, renowned for academic excellence in technology and natural sciences. Each partner contributes to simulation models, requirements development, and business models on a European scale, further enhancing the project’s impact.

Together, the NextFuel consortium collaborates closely on modelling approaches, ensuring maximum efficiency and sustainability in methanol production. With a shared vision and commitment to innovation, the consortium is poised to transform the methanol industry and drive sustainable solutions for a cleaner future.
